SCHEDULE
Key Players:
SR Preston Hopperton
Entering his senior campaign, Hopperton is coming off back-to-back seasons of 1700+ all-purpose yards. Last year, he amassed 915 yards on the ground, collecting 21 touchdowns, while adding 740 yards in the receiving game and reaching pay dirt 6 times as a result.
JR Cohen Klimak
Klimak has seen the field in a reserve role his first two seasons of high school, but Coach Pete Thompson will be counting on him to take a big step this season into a starter's role. As a reserve he accounted for 3 touchdowns last year, once on the ground and the other two through the air. Klimak will be making the transition to QB this season, looking to lead the Rocket offense to a MAC championship.
JR Jackson Gula
Much like with Klimak, Gula is going to be counted on in a much bigger role this fall than the two prior. Last season, Gula amassed 113 yards rushing, 191 receiving, and 197 total in returns (184 coming on kick-off returns). The 6'1" junior also collected 105 tackles last season.
