Stow-Munroe Falls trounce Nordonia 53-24

Macedonia, OH - On Tuesday night, the Nordonia Knights hosted the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs.

The Knights won the tip-off, but weren't able to capitalize as the Bulldogs opened the game on a 5-0 run.

Both teams tried finding their groove in the first quarter, but only Stow was able to find it taking a 19-11 commanding lead to end the first.

The Knights were looking to get their offense rolling, but were held scoreless by the stingy Bulldog defense.

Stow continued to work on their defense instead of putting up high scores this quarter as they only put up 13 compared to 19 in the first, but they were able to push their lead even further at 32-11 at the half.

Nordonia came out of the half looking like a refreshed team offensively as they were able to get on track a bit as they scored 9 points in the third quarter.

The Bulldogs however were able to maintain their big lead which they extended by putting up 18 points in the third. Center Kennady Dodds was able to put up 12 of those points by herself extending their lead to 50-20 at the end of the end third.

It was a low scoring fourth quarter with the Knights outscoring the Bulldogs 4-3. Stow ended the game on top as they took this one with ease 53-24.
