Revere Minutemen roll by Tallmadge Blue Devils 56-40

Tallmadge, OH - On Tuesday night the Tallmadge Blue Devils hosted the Revere Minutemen.

Starting the game off hot Revere's Baron Bania put up a three pointer 10 seconds into the game and then scored the next two points to take a 5-0 lead.

Tallmadge needed an answer and they found it in sophomore Kaden Davis, as he put up 8 out of the 10 points the Blue Devils scored in the first, but it wasn't enough to take the lead as the Minutemen had control at 13-10 after one.

The second quarter the Blue Devils were gonna try to keep their offense rolling, but the Minutemen defense held strong only allowing nine points in the quarter.

However, Revere's offense wasn't much better only putting up 10 in the second, but it was enough to keep a four point lead at 23-19 going into the half.

Coming out after halftime Tallmadge was looking to find their step on offense, but unfortunately they weren't unable too as they only put up another 10 points in the third.

The half did wonders for the Minutemen offense, as Carson Banks was on fire knocking down three 3 pointers rallying his team and increasing their lead to 37-29 after three.

Tallmadge fans were hoping for a fourth quarter comeback from their team, but unfortunately due to many turnovers and a rejuvenated Minutemen defense the Blue Devils were only able to score seven points until the final minute of the game when they put up another four.

Revere's defense created many turnovers that their offense capitalized on as Chris Muntean was able to get two steals in a row and score on the fast break. The Minutemen were not stopping until the clock hit zero as they scored 19 in the fourth and came away with the victory 56-40.

The player of the game for the Tallmadge Blue Devils was forward Kaden Davis who scored 18 points and played great defense all night long.

The player of the game for the Revere Minutemen was forward Baron Bania who dropped in 15 points throughout the whole game and was also great on the defensive end.

I spoke with Revere head coach Dean Rahas following the game.
