Olmstead Falls girls hold off Reynoldsburg 50-40 in Game 3 of the Cleveland Basketball Classic



Berea, OH- Game number three of the Cleveland Basketball Classic involved the highly anticipated matchup between the Reynoldsburg Raiders and the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs.


Olmsted Falls jumped out to an early 11-2 lead, but Reynoldsburg answered back on an 11-6 run to close the quarter out down 17-13.


Reynoldsburg’s momentum continued into the second quarter with multiple second chance baskets as well as sophomore guard Aubree Price finding her sweet spot in the

paint to help the Raiders outscore the Bulldogs 8-7. The Bulldogs lead 34-31 at half with Price leading both teams in scoring with 10 points.


The second half started with Reynoldsburg and North Olmstead pushing each other to their limit.


Simone Holifield, Sa ’Mahn Johnson, and Jayla Ross of Reynoldsburg each gave the Raiders a much-needed bucket to take the attention off Price. For North Olmstead, it was the duo of guards Danielle Cameron and Mia Kalich to give one that many considers to be one of the best players in the state in Paige Kohler some much needed help.


In the fourth, it was all Paige Kohler. Kohler nearly outscored Reynoldsburg alone with her 8 points to the Raiders 9. Kohler finished with 20 total points to lead the Bulldogs to a 50-40 victory over the Raiders. Aubree Price of Reynoldsburg also finished with 20 points.
