Following a 17-7 season that took them into the 2nd of the playoffs that resulted in a loss to Marlington, the Kenston Bombers are set to bounce back with 8 Seniors all returning from last seasons team. Christian Jolley has been with this senior class since they were freshman, it only seems the time is now to push for a State Title. Along with the 8 seniors on varsity, they are accompanied by a sophomore moving into her 2nd season of full-time varsity, and a junior set to make the jump to the next level and fill a role left behind by seniors. The Bombers open up the season on Saturday August 19th with a tri-meet vs. Hathaway Brown and Trinity. Conference games start up the 31st of August for Kenston as they host the Rebels of Willoughby South. Following the stop at the Gilmour Tournament, 9 of the Bombers last 13 games are WRC Conference games, with matchups against the Kirtland Hornets, Shaker Heights Raiders, Lakewood Rangers and Lake High Blue Streaks. The Regular-Season Finale for the Bombers is Thursday October 12th against the Mayfield Wildcats.
