Lynchburg Hillcats (Low A)
The Hillcats took the 6-game series at Salem 4-2 winning the first four and dropping the last two on Saturday and Sunday putting them at 21-17 on the season in 1st place in the Carolina League North Division. They moved up to 2nd (tied w/ Charleston) in team average at .253 but have only hit 10 HR's. Their 210 runs scored rank 3rd. The pitching staff is 4th in ERA at 4.17 and 6th in strikeouts with 407 in 321.2 IP.

Lake County Captains (High A)
The Captains won the series at Cedar Rapids 4-2 improving them to 18-20 on the season in 3rd place in the Midwest League East Division. Offensively they are last in the league with a .212 average and 11th in runs scored with 142. Pitching has been their strength as evident by their 3.53 ERA which is ranked 3rd and 120 earned runs allowed ranked 2nd.

Akron Rubberducks (AA)
The Ducks had a stellar week of baseball at Binghamton taking 5 of 6 to move to 23-16 on the season good for 1st place in the Eastern League Southwest Division. They moved up from 12th to 8th in batting with a .226 team average. Their 3.73 team ERA ranks 4th and they continue to lead the league in strikeouts with 471 in 342.1 IP paced by Logan Allen's 62. We mentioned last week that Gavin Williams was moving up to Akron, but that turned out to not be the case.

The Clippers split the series with the Iowa Cubs and now sit at 27-15 in 2nd place in the International League West Division. Their offense is in the middle of the pack in team average at .245 and 4th in HR's with 55. They are 2nd in the league in runs scored with 239. The staff ERA sits just under 4 at 3.99 and they are in the middle of the pack in most pitching categories.
